This submission by the Australian Catholic Council for Employment Relations (ACCER) follows the handing down of the Australian Government's Budget for 2017-18, addresses various Questions on Notice published by the Fair Work Commission (FWC), responds to recent updates to the FWC's Statistical Report and responds to the FWC's decision on 7 April 2017 in respect of an application for it to set a medium term target for the National Minimum Wage (NMW).

Annual Wage Review 2016 - 2017: ACCER Submission in Reply

ACCER has lodged its submission in reply to the Annual Wage Review 2016- 2017. This Reply submission by the Australian Catholic Council for Employment Relations (ACCER) concerns two matters that have arisen since ACCER’s initial submission of 29 March 2017, and a range of matters in the Australian Government’s submission of 29 March 2017. The two matters of concern are:
- The freezing of family payments
- Response to medium-term target decision

Annual Wage Review 2016 - 2017

The Australian Catholic Council for Employment Relations (ACCER) seeks the following orders by the Fair Work Commission (FWC):
- The National Minimum Wage (NMW) be set at $710.00 per week and $18.70 per hour.
- Award rates of pay be increased by $30.70 per week.
- No award rate shall be less than the NMW.
